She/Her
Graphic Designer, Painter, Illustrator
handcrafted, tactile, playful, honest, human
The process of creating Pip is connected to the idea of living:room because each figure is handmade with careful attention to detail and a personal touch. Pip’s likeness was created from countless digital and physical sketches and refined by my intuition. I digitally sculpted Pip in Nomad Sculpt to ensure her proportions were consistent. To prepare her for 3D printing, I sliced her in OrcaSlicer. She was printed with PLA, filled, and sanded. Her paint was done by hand, which gives each character a unique charm and warmth, a quality I believe can only be achieved through a personal, hands-on approach. Her packaging is made to resemble the sky, where all seasons come from. It is like a little temporary living room for Pip, lovingly crafted to keep her safe until she gets to her forever home.
Pip is an extension of myself and the relationships that define me. Just as the objects in my own living space hold sentimental value, these characters capture the essence of those connections, both past and present. Through Pip, I invite others to reflect on the spaces they inhabit and the stories they choose to surround themselves with—spaces that are not only physical but emotional, where memories and connections come to life. Pip is not just a decoration —she is a reminder of the people we love, the places we’ve been, and the experiences we’ve had.
